Bust: this was originally made to depict King Von, the rapper. I tried many times to add clay like the video did to create a realistic face. I was extremely inept at it. This might be the worst thing I have ever created. I am very disappointed in my creation. I gave up on it and decided to move on to my peublo style, as I have strong vision for that.
Pueblo style and something useful: This is the best thing I have ever created. I decided to depict a Victorian bowl. I used one of the bowls for holding water as a mold for my own. I spent a lot of time carving the insides with detail. It was quite difficult to get the houses and people looking accurate. The hardest part was glazing the individual parts. I am very happy with how it turned out. This alone easily took the most time to create. This is also my useful project, as it will be my only finished project actually usable for something.
Mask: My mask is similar to the screaming face from Edvard Munch. It may not be the best creation, but it is not the worst. The hardest part was adding realistic lips to the screaming mouth, and I never did a very good job. The glaze also doesn't look all that good but I am okay with it. It is also the current artist inspired, soecificakly relaitng to the scream movei and "ghostface." This is my donation piece for the festival!!
Mug: This is the mug I created for Unit 5. I wanted to get it over with super quickly so I could move on to something interesting and crazy. When I put it in to be fired, I completely forgot about it and never properly finished it. It's okay though because I never really cared for it much.
Choice project: This was originally going to be my choice project for Unit 5. But I gave up on this project just after the first day. It looked nothing like my vision and has started to become extremely gross. I am going to throw this away and move on to Unit 6. Sadly, I wasn't skillful enough to create the towers and buttresses.
